Our Story

Our Story

It started in a nursing home kitchen. Mrs. Manske wasn’t a baker by trade — she was a caretaker. But when she brought her homemade cinnamon rolls to work, something happened. A legend was born. Over the decades, the Manske Roll became a San Marcos icon — from freezer aisles to fraternity houses to generations of locals who swear by it.

Today, we’re still baking from scratch. Still using the same recipe. Still doing it for the love of the roll. This is more than a bakery. It’s a legacy we’re proud to carry forward — one swirl at a time.

We’re a small, tight-knit team of makers, dreamers, and legacy-builders. Some of us grew up on Manske Rolls. Others came for the icing and stayed for the mission.
